Experience

Board certified in general psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, Dr. Waldman has more than 30 years of experience evaluating individuals in both clinical and institutional settings. During his career, Dr. Waldman served as medical director for North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center, held numerous administrative appointments on advisory boards, as well as served as psychiatric advisor for Florida’s Mental Health Court, Eighth Judicial Circuit. He has authored numerous technical articles in professional medical journals as well as served as professor and clinical instructor for the University of Florida. Dr. Waldman has lectured extensively on topics of psychiatry, pharmacology, psychosis, and criminal behavior. As an expert consultant, Dr. Waldman specializes in providing general and forensic psychiatry and general and forensic neuropsychiatry evaluations on behalf of the plaintiff, defendant and State.
