A Registered Professional Engineer, Mr. Wheeler has more than 40 years experience in fire investigation and fire protection systems design, installation and operations. He is certified in basic code enforcement and building inspection. During his career, Mr. Wheeler served as an engineering manager at Rolf Jensen & Associates, an international protection consulting firm, as building inspector for the Village of Westhaven, Illinois, and instructor at Northern Virginia Community College teaching courses in fire detection and suppression systems. Over the last 16 years, Mr. Wheeler has provided engineering consulting services on fire protection and safety systems design, installation and code compliance. His extensive client list includes high-profile organizations such as HOK Architects, Hilton Hotels, Princeton University, the U.S. Department of State, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Mr. Wheeler has served as an expert witness and consultant on more than 65 legal cases nationwide. He is licensed to practice in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
