With more than 30 years experience in the wireless/mobile location field, Mr. Williams is internationally known for his work in all aspects of location-based services (LBS) design and delivery. He is an expert in all forms of location technologies, including GPS, Wireless E911, Network-Based/RF Location Determination, Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), RFID, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Near Field Communications (NFC), WiFi-based positioning systems, Beacon-based systems, and their combinations/hybrids. Mr. Williams specializes in wireless location product and infrastructure development and implementation. His client list includes companies such as Apple, Google, GE and General Motors. Mr. Williams’ articles and quotes have appeared in major magazines, newspapers and news outlets. He has authored five books on wireless location and published dozens of research reports.
