A Certified Public Account and Accredited Senior Appraiser, Mr. Nolte has more than 40 years of experience analyzing and explaining complex financial matters in both litigation and non-litigation settings. Mr. Nolte’s consulting practice focuses primarily on valuation of businesses and intangible business assets, economic studies, royalty and fraud auditing, and litigation-related financial  analysis. He has testified as an expert witness at trial for more than 200 cases. Mr. Nolte spent 25 years at one of the largest international accounting and consulting firms, during which time he managed the Southern California forensic accounting and damage analysis practice, one of the largest groups of its kind in the western United States. In addition to leading the local group, Mr. Nolte served on the firm-wide steering committees for the litigation consulting and the bankruptcy and troubled company consulting service lines. During his career, he performed audits for both publicly traded and private companies, including serving as the overall audit partner. Mr. Nolte also served as adjunct professor at Whittier College for five years, teaching upper division accounting and auditing classes. He has been widely published and quoted with appearances in The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and The Washington Post, among others.
