Direen has more than 30 years of engineering experience designing and developing systems in the electronics and software industry. He has extensive experience in both hardware and software products, as well as encryption and decryption methods associated with databases and signal processing. An expert in patent analysis, Dr. Direen has reverse engineered a variety of complex systems over the years, discovering and analyzing complex digital signal processing algorithms and key operations within the products. Over the years, he has served as engineer and designer for several software and technology companies and currently assists the U.S. Air Force Academy in researching and developing control systems, GPS navigation and image processing for unmanned aerial vehicles. An inventor, Dr. Direen holds three U.S. patents.
