Mr. Allport has more than 30 years of experience in information technology combined with more than 25 years in the financial sector. Since 2002, he has utilized his skills in cases involving patents, copyrights and intellectual property. Mr. Allport also has extensive experience in database technologies, using these skills to compare sets of source code to locate circumstances where code has been copied or where an application violates a copyright or patent. In the financial sector, Mr. Allport worked as both employee and consultant for firms such as J. P Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns, developing applications to support trading and back office. He has consulted internationally in the United Kingdom and European and Far East markets. As a private consultant, Mr. Allport specializes in intellectual property infringement. In such cases, Mr. Allport uses his skills to provide attorneys with analysis and commentary on subjects such as trading, trade processing, automated processing of prescriptions for health insurance claims, machines to process prescription in prisons, real estate transactions, and processing transactions generated by ATMs, point of sales machines, and Check 21 check imaging. Mr. Allport maintains his development skills, continuing to code in C++, C, C++ CLR, Java, JNI and C#, designing, and programming complex, multi-tiered applications.
