Experience

A Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology and European Registered Toxicologist, Dr. Norris has more than 30 years of research, consulting and teaching experience in toxicology and pharmacology. He serves as a consultant for biotechnology, private equity and industrial companies, medical university researchers, government agencies, and Chinese contract research organizations. In addition to managing research laboratories in the United States, England and China, Dr. Norris conducted research as a toxicologist, specializing in inhalation, combustion, and general pharmacology. During his work, he also assisted a Chinese research laboratory in obtaining AAALAC accreditation, a voluntary program that demonstrates humane treatment of animals in science. Dr. Norris, who has received numerous honors for his work, has authored nearly 100 presentations and journal articles. He also teaches at Harding University in the College of Pharmacy. Dr. Norris serves as an expert witness in pharmacology and toxicology, providing reports, depositions and trial testimonies in the United States, United Kingdom, and Hong Kong for civil trials, and in the United States, Japan, and Europe for U.S. military court martials.
