Experience

Mr. Lovely has more than 25 years of experience with financial products and banking. Prior to his current consulting position, he was the chief financial officer at Juice Source, a commodity vendor and trader, and its hedge fund owner. Mr. Lovely was previously employed as senior counsel for Holland & Knight, with a practice that specialized in derivative products, municipal bonds and general corporate law. At Holland & Knight, he worked on more than $800 million in municipal bond transactions and $5.5 billion in notional value of derivative products. Mr. Lovely was also a managing director for Bank of America where he was responsible for securities arbitrage vehicles that held more than $8 billion in assets, and led a diverse team of traders, risk managers and structuring professionals. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and North Carolina, and is a Mensa member. Mr. Lovely has written and presented on derivatives, securities and commodities regulations, asset-backed commercial paper and corporate law. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, as well as an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, where he specialized in corporate finance, investments and economics.
