Dr. Levy is a technical leader in the computer, software and storage industry with more than 30 years of experience and a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford, as well as engineering degrees from Cornell and CalTech. As a consultant and engineering manager, Dr. Levy has managed the development of computers, software and storage devices, specializing in hardware design, particularly input/output, storage and hard disk drives; and also in software development, operating systems, PC BIOS, and storage networks. Dr. Levy was director of systems engineering for Quantum Corporation, an engineering supervisor on the Lisa development team at Apple Computer, and a senior engineer at Tandem Computer. Dr. Levy holds seven U.S. patents related to data processing and storage. He has published multiple technical papers, as well as authored a book. Dr. Levy has been a university lecturer for San Francisco State University and the Fromm Institute for Lifelong Learning at the University of San Francisco. He has served as an expert for more than 60 cases and has consulted for the court as a neutral expert on three cases.
