A licensed psychologist, Dr. Perrotti has 30 years of experience in forensic neuropsychology and clinical psychology. He is an expert on brain injuries, the effects of physical and psychological trauma, and competency to waive Miranda and execute wills, as well as assessing child sexual abuse. Dr. Perrotti serves as Independent Medical Examiner for the State of California. He was appointed as government expert for the Office of Hearings and Appeals for the Social Security Administration and the Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Perrotti received a faculty appointment as assistant professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. He has provided expert consulting on television shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, Numbers, and Vanished, as well as expert consulting and litigation support in thousands of legal matters for plaintiffs, defendants, the court, Department of Children and Family Services, and the U.S. Military Command.
