A licensed professional engineer, Mr. Haaland has 37 years experience in power production, design, construction and commissioning. He has extensive knowledge in all types of power plants, including conventional, nuclear, and alternate fuels. Mr. Haaland served as senior reactor operator for Indian Point Unit #3 Nuclear Power Plant. He has worked on five continents serving as project manager, construction manager, and commissioning manager for multiple power projects, successfully engineering, estimating, planning, executing, and troubleshooting for power plants worldwide. In addition to design and construction, Mr. Haaland’s extensive experience also includes mechanical and electrical systems management, plant outage management, startup, performance testing and operation. He authored two chapters in the University Text Book, On-Site Power Generation, and has published several articles in professional journals.
