Experience

An ergonomics and biomechanics expert, Dr. McCauley has more than 20 years experience as a researcher, practitioner, consultant and professor in human factors, biomechanics, and ergonomics research applications. Serving as an industry liaison, she assists companies concerned with ergonomics and safety in the workplace. Her ongoing research at the University of Central Florida includes ergonomics, safety, fuzzy set theory and artificial intelligence, particularly in human factors. As president of T-STEM Inc., Dr. McCauley spearheads STEM education, leadership, diversity and innovation in coordination with institutions around the globe. She served on the faculty of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on human factors in aeronautics. Dr. McCauley also served as Chief Technical Officer at Bush Enterprises/Tech Solutions, Inc., a company providing technical solutions for the U.S. Air Force, Army Research Laboratory, NASA and more.
