Experience

A licensed professional engineer, Mr. Horsak has more than 40 years experience in multiple phases of environmental engineering and science, from engineering and project management to strategic planning and construction. During his career, Mr. Horsak has provided risk assessments of air, water and waste contamination of petroleum hydrocarbons, pesticides, Agent Orange, carbon black, dioxins, PCBs, metals, radionuclides, biological pathogens, and other toxins. He has worked on more than 500 projects in the U.S. and 50 internationally, including abandoned/legacy sites, hazardous waste management facilities, refineries, chemical plants, fossil and nuclear power plants, geothermal energy plants, manufacturing and commercial facilities, pipelines, power transmission lines, oil and gas exploration and production sites, and public and private properties. The projects range in size from small consulting assignments to complex, multi-million-dollar developments with turnkey engineering and construction. Mr. Horsak has authored nearly 50 technical articles and presentations, and has served as an expert witness for plaintiffs and defendants.
