Mr. Hollowell has more than 45 years of experience in real estate lending, property development and management, construction loans, leasing, portfolio asset management, acquisition due diligence, and real estate partnerships. He served in C-suite leadership roles in highly sophisticated banking, business consulting and real estate investment firms. Mr. Hollowell appeared as one of six industry experts before 20 members of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s staff in August 2008 to discuss rapidly declining U.S. economic conditions and America’s depressed real estate market. Since the systemic crash of the U.S. financial markets, Mr. Hollowell has served as a consulting and testifying expert for more than 30 cases involving failing banks, financially challenged real estate projects, lender liability, real estate partnership disputes, bankruptcy and foreclosure actions. He is a widely published authority in business and real estate journals. His articles discuss a variety of topics, including failing banks, distressed properties, loan underwriting, general partner liability, bank bailouts, real estate asset management, crisis management, and capital market trends. Mr. Hollowell is a frequent guest speaker at industry events.
