A Certified Consulting Meteorologist, Mr. Piazza has more than 40 years experience in providing weather data to utilities, municipalities, businesses, industry groups, government agencies and others.In addition to CEO, Mr. Piazza serves as chief meteorologist for Murray and Trettel, a private firm that provides industry-specific, real-time forecasts, meteorological and environmental monitoring, weather data management, and weather instrument services. He has served as expert witness and consultant for weather-related litigation and accident investigations on numerous cases, providing testimony for both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Piazza specializes in reconstructing weather events for a specific time and location, and determining the severity of weather parameters for individual utility outages.
